Fallen Heroes Memorial Scholarship.

Tennessee Marine Family believes that each and every one of our Fallen Heroes should always be remembered. 

In the beginning, Tennessee Marine Family sent a remembrance gift to each Gold Star family on their Fallen Hero’s  “anniversary date”.  Understanding that families can become overwhelmed with an abundance of possessions, our Board searched for a more fitting way to honor these warriors and their families.  We wanted to continue to recognize them for their contributions to our great nation and their ultimate sacrifice.      

To that end, on behalf of the Board of Directors of Tennessee Marine Family, we were pleased to announce the formation of the “Tennessee Fallen Heroes Scholarship” in 2007. 

This scholarship is to be presented annually in $1,000 increments to deserving college bound Tennessee students.  This scholarship is intended to honor the memory of each of our Fallen Heroes, so that we may “Always Remember”.  A separate fund has been established for the Scholarship and each year, on the anniversary date of each of our Fallen Heroes, Tennessee Marine Family will make a donation into the Scholarship Fund in honor of that Fallen Hero.  Any friends or family members that would like to make a donation in honor of a Fallen Hero may do so as well, with those funds going directly into the Scholarship Fund.
